On Monday, she made a striking appearance at the Balenciaga fashion show for Womenswear Spring-Summer 2025. Moreover, she flaunted an illusory black zippers-heavy dress from the luxury brand.
Katy Perry’s futuristic look with the QR code body art comes after she showed a unique QR code tattoo on the lower back while donning a back-baring tattered dress at the 2024 MTV VMAs. With these two looks, the singer contributed to two unique fashion moments of this year.
Katy Perry flaunts QR code once again for PFW Balenciaga show
Joining Hollywood A-listers like Nicole Kidman on the front row seats at the Balenciaga Womenswear Spring-Summer 2025 fashion show, Katy Perry turned heads in a Balenciaga black zipper number, which was styled with a QR code body art on her palm. The show-stopping dress featured an assembly of zippers, giving it an illusory look. It also showed off a halter neck with straps that looked like bag straps. Additionally, the dress gave off an effect that made the skirt and the dress’ bodice seem like they were comprised of bags.
Considering the black bodice featured multiple chains, it gave the impression that there was a pocket, purse, and pouch attached to it. As per WWD, the skirt mimicked a duffel bag. Perry added more drama to the dramatic dress by pairing it with black pointed-toed stiletto boots. She styled the look with big sci-fi-themed shades.
As for her makeup, Katy Perry opted for a matte look with defined eyes, a subtle blush on her cheeks, and a brown lip. The singer wore her dark hair down in a wet natural wavy look with a center part.
