From the brand
Beautiful – Large premium packet of Cucamelon (Melothria scabra) seeds. Also known as Mexican Sour Gherkin, cucamelon is a unique, vining plant that produces small, cucumber-like fruits with a tangy, citrusy flavor. Perfect for pickling, salads, or snacking, these little fruits are a fun addition to any garden. Minimum of 200 mg per packet (about 65 seeds).
Productive – Cucamelon germinates in 7-14 days when soil temps are 70-80°F. Plant 1/2” deep and space 12” apart in an area with full sun. This vining plant can grow 8-10’ tall up a trellis, and typically has a spread of 6-8”. Fruits will mature in 65-75 days, plant in USDA zones 2-11.
Good Eats – The tarte, bite-sized fruits of this melon lend an interesting taste and texture to your daily cuisine. A cucumber-like flavor shines when pickled or cooked. Enjoy this fast growing and productive fruit in fresh fruit salads as well.
Easy to Grow – Instructions included on each packet. Plus, we are available to answer all your questions. If these seeds don’t germinate, we will happily make it right for you.
Safe and Sustainable – Our operation is fully solar powered, and Sow Right Seeds has taken the Safe Seed Pledge to sell only fresh Non-GMO heirloom seeds for you and your family.
